Continuous Delivery of Your InfrastructureSpeaker: Kris Buytaert AbstractAs an ops engineer, your role in enabling continuous delivery of your colleagues who write Perl6, Go or PHP, is crucial. You'll need to learn to use the same tools you will be supporting for your developers to use. So what better to start practicing with than your own Infrastructure Code. This talk will guide you trough the steps needed and the required infrastructure you'll need to setup to achieve this goal. We'll use PuppetCode as an example, but the same pattern works for PHP/Java and many other languages. BiographyKris Buytaert is a long time Linux and Open Source Consultant. He's one of instigators of the DevOps movement, currently working at Inuits. He is frequently speaking at, or organizing different international conferences, and has written about the same subjects in different books, papers and articles. Kris spends most of his time working on bridging the gap between developers and operations, with a strong focus on High Availability, Scalability, Virtualisation, and Large Infrastructure Management projects hence trying to build infrastructures that can survive the 10th floor test, better known today as the cloud while actively promoting the DevOps idea!
