The BSD Certification Group accepted NLUUG's kind offer to organise BSD certification exams. The exam will be at 14:00 hours. Pre-registration is required, see https://register.bsdcertification.org/register/get-a-bsdcg-id

LPI

LPI offers discounted certification exams at NLUUG conference in may 2008

As in 2007, the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) will offer discounted certification exams to attendees of the NLUUG conference in may 2008 at Ede.
Start times for the exam sessions are at 10:00 and 14:00.

Exams will be in English and include the following certifications:

(1) 75 EUR for Ubuntu members

Note that the prices above is around a 50% discount off the regular price for all exams, and even 55% for LPIC-301.

The procedure is as follows:

  1. you must pre-register at the LPI website for an LPI ID number, at the following URL: http://www.lpi.org/en/lpi/english/certification/register_now
  2. because of limited seating you should pre-register for the LPI exams at the NLUUG conference at the following URL: http://lpievent.lpice.eu
  3. you must bring valid photo identification and your LPI ID number to the exam lab
  4. you pay for your exam at the exam room (by cash) at the beginning
